Election authorities in Tamil Nadu conducted a thorough inspection of a helicopter transporting Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday.
Upon landing, officials from the flying squad initiated the search, as confirmed by the local police.
Gandhi was en route to his parliamentary constituency in Wayanad, Kerala, where he had scheduled a series of campaign engagements, including public gatherings.
His participation in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls on April 26 from Wayanad marks his bid for a consecutive term.
