Bollywood buzzes with excitement as Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal prepare to tie the knot this month. In a recent interview with Zoom, Sonakshi’s father, veteran actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha, confirmed his presence at the wedding, addressing false reports suggesting otherwise.
“Tell me, whose life is it anyway? It’s just the life of my only daughter Sonakshi, whom I am very proud of and immensely fond of. She calls me the pillar of her strength. I will be there at the wedding, certainly. Why shouldn’t I and why won’t I?” Shatrughan asserted.
He further emphasized his support, saying, “The very fact that I have still been in Mumbai conveys that I am here not only as her pillar of strength but as her real kavach (armour) as well. Sonakshi and Zaheer have to live life together. They look very nice together.”
Shatrughan Sinha also addressed the fake reports circulating online with his signature style: “I would like to caution them with my signature dialogue: Khamosh, it’s none of your business. Mind only your business.”
Leading up to the wedding, Sonakshi hosted a glamorous bachelorette party attended by her Double XL co-star Huma Qureshi and other close friends. The actress shared a series of photos on Instagram stories, showcasing the festive atmosphere adorned with golden, white, and silver balloons. Sonakshi dazzled in a black sequin dress, posing happily with her friends.
Meanwhile, Zaheer Iqbal enjoyed a fun outing with his close friends, including actor Saqib Saleem, Huma Qureshi’s brother, who joined the festivities.
ICYDK (In case you didn’t know): Sonakshi and Zaheer have been rumored to be dating since 2020. They starred together in the 2022 film Double XL and featured in the music video Jodi Blockbuster last year. The couple is now ready to embark on their new journey together, and fans are eagerly awaiting their big day.
