Comparison with Other Blockbusters

Kalki 2898 AD is the highest-grossing Indian film of 2024 so far and had the third-biggest domestic opening of all time, behind Baahubali 2 and RRR. For context, after five days, Baahubali 2 had collected Rs 705 crore globally, and RRR had collected Rs 618 crore. The Yash-starrer KGF 2 had amassed Rs 609.7 crore.

Star-Studded Cast

In addition to Prabhas, the film features an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani. Cameos by SS Rajamouli, Dulquer Salmaan, and Vijay Deverakonda further add to its star power.

While Kalki 2898 AD is trailing behind some of the biggest blockbusters like Baahubali 2 and RRR, it is still a remarkable success in its own right. As it continues its run in theaters, it remains to be seen if it can surpass the Rs 600 crore mark worldwide and set new records in Indian cinema.
