The release of the highly anticipated romantic thriller Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu, has been postponed. Originally set to premiere on July 5, the film’s new release date will be announced soon.
The film, directed by Neeraj Pandey, was delayed following requests from exhibitors and the distribution fraternity. The production company shared the news on their official Instagram account, stating, “Dear Friends, on request of the exhibitors and the distribution fraternity, we have collectively decided to shift the release date of our film, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. New release date to be announced soon.”
The recently unveiled trailer opens with a voiceover by Ajay Devgn, asserting that nothing can separate him from the love of his life, portrayed by Tabu. However, destiny intervenes, leading to scenes of Ajay’s character in prison. The trailer also features Shantanu Maheshwari playing a younger version of Ajay, romancing Saiee Manjrekar, who portrays a younger Tabu. The film also stars Jimmy Sheirgill.
Neeraj Pandey’s directorial effort promises a unique musical love story, spanning two decades from 2002 to 2023. The film’s original soundtrack is composed by Oscar-winning musician MM Keeravaani, with lyrics by Manoj Muntashir.
Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is presented by NH Studioz and produced by Narendra Hirawat, Kumar Mangat Pathak (Panorama Studios), Sangeeta Ahir, and Shital Bhatia under A Friday Filmworks Production.
