Allu Aravind’s Statement Sparks Social Media Comparison Between Yash and Allu Arjun

Allu Aravind, the veteran filmmaker and father of actor Allu Arjun, has stirred a social media debate with his recent statement about actor Yash. The remark made by Allu Aravind at the teaser launch of Kotabommali PS, where he discussed the impact of actors’ remuneration on a film’s budget, has led to many drawing comparisons between Yash and Allu Arjun on various social media platforms.

During the event, Allu Aravind was asked about the trend of actors increasing their fees after achieving success and how it affects a film’s budget. He addressed the issue by explaining that his production house, Geetha Arts, is currently focusing on smaller films due to budget constraints. When questioned about actors from his family, including Allu Arjun, who reportedly command higher fees, he denied that such fees alone result in inflated budgets. He clarified, “The lead actor of a movie gets only 20 to 25 percent of the film’s budget as remuneration. So, it is not true that the budget for the film will increase because of his fees alone. On top of actors’ fees, a lot of money is spent to make the movie a big venture.”

Allu Aravind then cited Yash as an example, emphasizing the significance of production quality. He said, “Who was Yash before the release of the KGF movie? Why did that movie make noise? It was that richness that led to the success of the movie. This is just one example. Whoever the hero of the movie is, it is because of the making that it attracts the audience.”

Internet Reaction to Allu Aravind’s Comment

Allu Aravind’s comments about Yash and his films have triggered a strong response on social media. Some individuals expressed their disagreement with his viewpoint. One social media user commented on X, stating, “KGF is special only because of Yash. It is unimaginable without him. That is his contribution. What’s this guy’s problem?” Another X user remarked, “I think he needs to address his own nepotism product Arjun first before talking about the self-made superstar Yash.”

Others highlighted the early stages of Allu Arjun’s career and his ascent to stardom. One person mentioned, “Even Allu Arjun was a relatively lesser-known actor in the tier-2 range, competing with Vijay Devarakonda, until his major film ‘Alavaikuntapuram lo’.” Another individual pointed out, “There is nothing wrong when people admit they didn’t know who Yash was before KGF.”

Some also commented on the remarkable speed of Yash’s rise to fame, which stood in contrast to the experiences of many other actors in the industry. One tweet read, “It’s a bit hard to accept that just two movies were sufficient for Yash to achieve the heights that many could only dream of in a lifetime.”

The statement by Allu Aravind has certainly ignited a lively discussion and comparison between the two actors among the internet community.
