V Muraleedharan, Union Minister and NDA candidate from Attingal constituency in Kerala, is set to file his nomination for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections with a unique show of support. Students who were evacuated from Ukraine amid the conflict have come forward to extend financial assistance, demonstrating their gratitude for the government’s efforts during their evacuation.

In a heartwarming gesture, the students, along with their parents, visited the BJP state office on Friday to meet Muraleedharan and handed over a sum of Rs 25,000, which covers the nomination fee for the elections.

Expressing his appreciation, Muraleedharan highlighted the government’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of every Indian, regardless of their location. He emphasized the significant role played by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in orchestrating various evacuation operations, showcasing India’s diplomatic prowess on the global stage.

Sai Shruti, one of the students who returned from Ukraine, echoed Muraleedharan’s sentiments, acknowledging the pivotal role of PM Modi and the Union Minister in their safe return.

Muraleedharan faces a competitive electoral battle in Attingal, where he will be pitted against sitting Congress MP Adoor Prakash and CPI(M)’s V Joy. With a three-way contest anticipated in the constituency, Muraleedharan’s nomination filing signifies not only political support but also a touching display of solidarity from those directly impacted by recent global events.
